EXHIBITION:Freemans Bay Behaviorology: The Kaijima Studo Exhibition OpeningGeorge Fraser Gallery, 25a Princes Street, CityOpening Function at 5.30pm
This exhibition presents design and research work by twenty Master of Architecture (Professional) students from the University of Auckland School of Architecture and Planning. This work was produced in a studio taught in late 2010 by the School’s inaugural International Architect-in-Residence, Momoyo Kaijima of Tokyo-based firm Atelier Bow-Wow. The students’ final presentations for the studio included detailed sectional drawings of their designs in Atelier Bow-Wow’s signature style. The exhibition includes these sectional drawings and a large-scale model that shows the students’ designs in the context of the whole street. The exhibition will be open 29September–1 October, 12:00noon–5:00pm.
